took a little trip over to my hometown to have dinner with one of my oldest friends, and decided to prowl around for a bit afterward. i forgot what it was like to roam dark, empty streets at night without feeling the slightest premonition that you're about to be robbed at gunpoint, or at least witness a crime of some sort. i miss you, small little town. i'll be back soon!
