the other day my boss found this bitchin' vintage mini dress buried deep within his storage unit, thought of me and decided that i should have it! best boss ever. it was only as i was looking back at these photos we shot that i realized i look just like a bee hangin' out by the azaleas wearing this thing. obviously i'm ready for spring!
went to a dre day party, but dressed for kurt cobain. oh yea, and the "t" has finally completely worn off of this "the strokes" hoodie, so...
tank top, motel. skirt, urban outfitters. "the strokes" hoodie from high school. shoes, chuck taylor. watch, thrifted. lollipop, blow pop. petite harness, zana bayne.
the fair is in town and just like every year, i'm more excited than a kid on christmas. it could be that i get way too revved up over deep fried cheese, pizza cones and cotton candy, but nevertheless, fair day is one of my favorite days of the year. apart from all the delightfully terrible things to eat, i just love the mood of the whole thing... the midway all lit up, riding on the ferris wheel with your beau, traipsing around with your friends smelling all the smells and laughing at everything. it just feels..... charmed. plus, i have this fantasy of me and all my pals breaking into the dance routine from "give it to you" right next to the gravitron. i even know the choreography thanks to darren's dance grooves, but somehow no one else is ever with me on this idea...
found some vintage nike while thrifting the other day! someone in the 90's wore this baby down to the super soft, faded piece of perfection that it is today, which makes it even sweeter. don't you just love when someone else does the hard part for you? thanks, big 90's dude!!
everything i'm wearing is thrifted, except the patent leather heels, which are from zara.
